大王仙丹花－仙丹花之殊勝

學名： Ixora duffii
英名： Super king ixora
說明： 仙丹花原產熱帶亞洲，堪稱熱帶嬌娃，品種有20餘種。大王仙丹花常綠灌木或小喬木，葉對生，全緣，葉卵狀披針形，或長橢圓形，先端突尖，全年開花，但以夏、秋較盛開，花冠紅色，花徑可達15公分以上。花頂生，繖形花序，花瓣四枚，聚生成團。大王仙花是仙丹花中最大的品種，雍容華貴。
原產地： 印度、台灣普遍栽培。
用途： 耐旱耐高溫，生性強健，花期長適合庭園美化。
