學名： Decussocarpus nagi（Thunb）Taiwan Mus.26:108,1983
說明： 竹柏為常綠喬木，樹皮光滑。葉橢圓狀披針形，無中肋而具有多平行線細脈，葉揉之有蕃石榴的味道，對生而排成兩列。花雌雄異株，雄花毬呈短圓柱狀，雌花單生，種子球形具假種皮。
原產地： 中國南部各省，日本、琉球。台灣主要分佈於海拔1600公尺以下的?葉林區。
用途： 1.樹形優美，良好的庭院，景觀植物。 2.種子可為小品盆栽。 3.木材可供建築、雕刻、家具等之用。
