山蘇花－蕨類植物是世界最古老的植物

科名： Aspleniaceeae 鐵角蕨科
學名： Asplenium antiguum Makino
說明： 山蘇花又稱鳥巢蕨，附生，根直立很短，被透明鱗片，密生，單葉，叢生，葉柄很短，中肋正表面有縱溝，下表面凸出，葉片長20~80公分，寬8~20公分，長橢圓至倒披針形，葉尖漸尖行。全緣，側脈近平平行，單一或兩歧，孢子囊堆線形，著生脈的一側。山蘇花離中軸到葉緣大於1/2。原生種台灣山蘇花（Asplenium nidus L.）小於1/2，而海產店常作菜餚的南洋山蘇花（Asplenium australasicum）等於1/2。
